Overview
Tiger Cave Temple Krabi
- The reason it is called “Tiger Cave” is because this cave used to have tigers living there. Inside the cave, there are natural stones in the shape of tiger paws. The general condition is a forest garden and many small caves. Interesting things in Tiger Cave Temple are the pagoda, a replica of the Buddha’s footprint, and a large Buddha statue in the meditation posture It is located on the top of Khao Kaew, approximately 600 meters above sea level.
- There are 1,237 steps to walk up to pay homage. In addition, when standing on the top of Khao Kaew, you can see Krabi town in 360 degrees, surrounded by mountains of strange and beautiful shapes. It is also a point to watch the sunrise. Especially during September-January, you will be able to see the sea of fog in the morning.
🏞🌳 Emerald Pool:
- originates from warm water currents. In the forests of the southern lowlands It is a hot spring with 3 hot spring pools: Sa Kaeo, Sa Morakot, and Sa Phut. The water is clear and emerald green. The temperature is about 30-50 degrees Celsius. The surrounding area is a lush, shady forest with interesting plants.
- From the parking lot, walk about 800 meters to reach the Emerald Pool. Or go another way, which is an educational path. The natural distance is approximately 2.7 kilometers, but no matter which way you walk, you will meet at the same emerald pool.
